The
Children at St. Peter's Church
The
team at St Peter's love children and young people and consider it a
great honour to be serving them in our church and community; they are
viewed as being an important part of the family.We aim to provide quality, age-specific programs that the children and young people will love and look forward to attending! Our large team of enthusiastic, committed leaders take great care in presenting Jesus in a way that is fun & relevant for them.
St. Peter's is grateful for substantial financial support from the Haberdashers Company of London and the Diocese of Guildford in the employment and training of our two youth workers.
What's on?
During Term TimeYoung Church: every Sunday morning during term time. During the
10am service groups are put on in the church hall aimed at various
ages, with a message made relevant to them by our enthusiastic,
fantastic, elastic leaders.
0-3 year olds
3-6 year olds
7-10 year olds
11-14 year olds
During the Holidays:
We have a varied programme during the holidays -ranging from themed activities for events such as Easter and Christmas, to Cinema and Sports during the Summer Holidays.
Holiday Club:
For a week in the Summer holiday, we have a jam packed week of fun. 70-100 kids come along for the themed week - This year (2010) was Rocky's Plaice and what a great time we had! Dates are still to be set for next year but this is not to be missed so keep your eyes peeled.
